Following the announcement of its new range launch, Formica Group unveils more details about the Formica® Originals Worktop Collection, a design-led range of laminate surfaces that combine modern practicality with enduring style.
With over 90 years of iconic kitchen surface design, the Formica Originals collection builds on Formica Group’s legacy of trusted performance, offering 52 carefully curated worktop options, including 24 premium square-edge and 28 classic postformed. The range is supported by matching upstands and splashbacks, along with a striking collection of feature splashbacks — all designed to bring functional elegance into the heart of the home.
Crafted for modern living and aligned with today’s interior design trends, the collection is divided into five distinct style categories:
Stone-Inspired Sophistication
From crisp marble whites to dramatic veining and textured finishes, stone-inspired worktops offer kitchens timeless elegance with real-world practicality. Whether anchoring an island or setting the tone for a full kitchen scheme, these decors reflect natural materials like marble, travertine, granite, concrete, and slate — and are built to withstand everyday wear.
Wood-Inspired Warmth
Inspired by oak, walnut, and other premium wood species, these surfaces bring organic beauty with no compromise on durability. Intricate grain patterns and tactile finishes give a natural look, while the high-pressure laminate surface resists moisture and surface wear, making them hygienic, easy to clean, and made to last.

Crisp White: Pure, Versatile Minimalism
For those drawn to simplicity, Crisp White delivers a clean, modern look in kitchens and utility spaces. It pairs seamlessly with a wide range of cabinetry styles, and its stain-resistant, durable surface ensures it stays as fresh as it looks.
All worktops in the collection are available with matching upstands and splashbacks, offering continuity across kitchen walls. Additionally, a curated selection of feature splashbacks — from vibrant solids and terrazzo to brushed metallics — invites bold expression in modern kitchens.
